He is survived by: his wife Vickie Newell Brewer; his children, Stacey Tyler (Todd) of Savannah, TN and David Brewer (Marsha) of Selmer, TN; his granddaughter Hayley Beth Brewer of Selmer, TN.; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Carnes of Lakeland, TN, Jerry Newell (Diane) of Selmer, TN, Kenny Newell (Charlene) of Adamsville, TN and Marty Newell of Scotts Hill, TN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Adamsville (303 Old Stage Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Mars Hill Cemetery (5948 Leapwood Enville Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310).
