He was predeceased by: his parents, Estle Lee and Sarah Gazelle Hurst McDaniel; and his siblings, Waynon Lee, Raymond Lee McDaniel and Doris June Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Cummings McDaniel; his daughters, Jodi Stewart (William) and Cortney Coyle (Devin Kee); and his sisters, Nola Smith, Dorothy Stout and Mary Whitten. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
