It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlene King in Selmer, Tennessee, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Melton and Vestie Irene Locke Goolsby; her husband Preston E. King; her son Larron King; and her granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Hart (Larry) of Selmer, TN and Shelia Henry (Joey) of Corinth, MS; her daughter-in-law Anita King Hively (Jason) of Selmer, TN; her grandchildren, Lani Coats (Josh), Kayla Foley (Jason), Heather Strangfeld (Allen), Hailey Gee (Tyler) and Wes King (Christina); her great grandchildren, Lilli, Jax Coats, Blaize, Wilder Foley, Trenton Sharp, Lyla, Everleigh, Ava Gee and Kamden King; and her siblings, Robert Goolsby (Linda) of Selmer, TN, Wayne Goolsby of Pocahontas, TN, Darlene Cagle of Selmer, TN and Glenda Cox (Gary) of Bolivar, TN. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
