She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Lawson and Joe Lawson; her husbands, Luther Allen Sutton and Edward Franklin Dutton; her son Christopher Allen Sutton; and her son-in-law William Darryl Cheaves.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Cheaves, Barbie Curd (Mike) and Teddi Buss; and her grandchildren, Ashley Cheaves and Colton Cheaves (Meagan). She is also survived by great grandchildren, dear friends and a few dogs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347).
