She is survived by: her husband Michael Higgins; her daughters, Christie Smith (Jansen) and Tabitha Gladden (Brad); her siblings, Jim Roberts, David Roberts, Donna Thomason (Steve) and Phyllis Alder; her grandchildren, Chase Smith and Cory Smith; and her great grandchild Waylon Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery.
