He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn O'Hanlon-Boulden; his parents, Isaac H. Boulden Jr. and Iva H. Boulden (Mayne); his sister Eleanor; his brother-in-law Charles Rolph; and his nephew Kevin Rolph.
He is survived by: his sister Iva Thomas (Boulden) of Wilmington, DE; his sons, John I. Boulden (Emily) of Sevierville, TN, Ronald L. Boulden (Colleen) of New Castle, DE and Andrew F. Boulden (Dawn) of Laurel, DE; and his grandchildren, Jason Boulden, Michael Valichka, Christina Boulden, Kayla Boulden, Amanda (Boulden), Dungan (Tim), Emily (Boulden), Kemmerer (Derek) and Sara Boulden. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alan's memory may be made to Elam United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
