He was predeceased by: his mother Frena Russell; his stepfather Jimmy Russell; his father Glenn Maples; his grandparents, Clyde, Bea Mounger, Clark and Sophie Maples; and his uncles, Bill and Ed Mounger.
He is survived by: his nephews, Cameron, Hunter Shrader and Riley Shrader; his stepson Kile Johnson (Tonya Curtsinger); his uncles, Bob Mounger (Linda), Joe Mounger (Janice) and Frank Mounger (Tammy); and his aunt June Upchurch (David). He is also survived by numerous other cousins and friends.
