She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton B. McDaniel and Virgie McDaniel; and her brother-in-law Robert J. Wally (Bob). She is survived by: her husband John R. Brister; her daughter Robyn Jordan; her son-in-law Chris Jordan; her siblings, Barbara M. Wally and Shelton McDaniel (Peggy); her siblings' children, Robbie Wally (Rowena), Ryan Wally (Allison), Shawn McDaniel (Betsy) and Lauren Cox (John); and her pets, Winston, Maggie and Delilah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sharkey Funeral Home (1023 Old Brookhaven Rd, Summit, MS 39666). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery (8031 US-98, Meadville, MS 39653).
Memorial donations are requested to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of Memphis, TN.
