He was preceded in death by his wife, Faith D. Ferrall Maxwell; parents, James K. and Amy Bell Jones Maxwell; son, Ferrall W. Maxwell; Grandson ; Stephen Maxwell of Savannah, TN ;Brother, James Maxwell and sister, Lora Lee Maxwell. Don was known and loved by many people. Services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. with American Legion Post 104 presenting military honors.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN.
