He is survived by: his child Donnel Cote (Jim); his stepchildren, Kathryn Shinavier and Chris Weatherholt (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Brian Weatherholt, Jessica Shinavier, Sami Weatherholt, Rhett Weatherholt, Ally Weatherholt and Trever Cote; his great grandchildren, Landon Cote, Carson Dennis, Blake Dennis, Colton Dennis and Samira Jiddou; and his siblings, Alan Loveland, Patricia Katanski, Judy Gephart (Roy), Linda Bottom and Marilyn Norton (Chad).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
