We are sad to announce that, on December 18, 2025, at the age of 79, Janice Deette Shirley of Sevierville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Janice leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Janice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Haltom and Marjorie Haltom. She is survived by: her spouse Jackie Alexander; and her children, Ronald Alexander, Jackie Alexander and Margie Newsome. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
