He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clyde and Mildred Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Coleman; his children, Dylan T. Coleman, James Coleman (Christie) and Sarah Reaves (Andre); his siblings, Tim Coleman (Tracy) and Mary Hefner (Lee); his sister-in-law Sherry Coutts (Wally); his friend Susan Sablon Herrington; and also Leslie Manis. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 1 niece, 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
