She was predeceased by : her husband Donald F. Matthews, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Tina Townsend (Rick) and Donald Matthews, Jr. (Adriene); her granddaughter Grace Matthews; and her sisters, Deborah Carter, Linda Clevenger (Richard), Barbara Pitts and Sonia Murray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charity donations on her behalf to either the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association would most certainly be cherished and appreciated.
