He was predeceased by : his parents, Brents Edward Craig and Geraldene Valdera Sapp Molloy; his sister Brenda June Molloy; his grandparents, Floyd, Irene "Big Momma" Sapp, James Logan and Alfreda "Mammie" Molloy; and his father-in-law Buford (Lola Mae Bonner).

He is survived by : his wife Darlene Bonner Molloy of Sevierville, TN; his children, Meshon Crateau (Kevin) of Knoxville, TN, Jessica Striz (Jeremy) of Fort Mill, SC and Dr. Seth Shawn Molloy (Brittany) of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Madison Crateau, Sage Striz, Kennedy Crateau, Pierce Striz, Logan Crateau, Charlotte Molloy and Jaxon Molloy; and his brother Kevin Molloy (Debbie) of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Meals on Wheels.

“Shawn was four years younger than me but he was a classmate & valued friend of my cousin Danny Phifer, among others. His late parents were my friends. His mother helped me proofread the Warren County Historical Journal of the 1970s and 1980s. His Dad got me to prepare a biographical sketch of his interesting military career for the 2004 Heritage of Warren County, Tennessee. I thought a lot of them all. - Larry Boyd”
