He is survived by: his sister Linda Thomas; his sister-in-law Birdie McBee; his nieces, Rhonda Butner, Beth Nolan and Kim McBee; his nephew Trey McBee; and his close friends, David Sampley, Isaac Parson and Jeff Petty.
He chose to donate his body to science.
