He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Shields and Anna Clair Shields (Barnes); and his granddaughter Hailey Brooke Shields. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Shields; his sons, Greg Shields, Brian Shields (Christy) and Kenneth; his grandchildren, Andrew Shields (Rachel), Daniel Shields (Megan) and Hannah Bowen (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Baylor, Grayson, Cohen, Riley, Gracie and Ginger Gulley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Sherwood Church of Christ.
