He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Burgin and Ruth Burgin; his brothers, Mike and Pat; his granddaughter Brittany Johnson; and his uncles, J. N., Eugene and Darrahl.
He is survived by: his wife Sonnie; his daughters, Crystal Meldrum (John) and Tiffany Burgess; his grandchildren, Hailey Johnson, Parker Meldrum, Lydia Meldrum, Trinity Burgess, Brantley Burgess, Marissa Burgess and Hailey Burgess; his sister Zoe Terrell (Bobby); his aunt Betty Burgin; his uncle Danny Mikels; his close friend Christian; and his brother Jim Keener. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
