In loving memory of Chris Eugene Burgin of Seymour, Tennessee, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who departed this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Burgin and Ruth Burgin; his brothers, Mike and Pat; his granddaughter Brittany Johnson; and his uncles, J. N., Eugene and Darrahl.
He is survived by: his wife Sonnie; his daughters, Crystal Meldrum (John) and Tiffany Burgess; his grandchildren, Hailey Johnson, Parker Meldrum, Lydia Meldrum, Trinity Burgess, Brantley Burgess, Marissa Burgess and Hailey Burgess; his sister Zoe Terrell (Bobby); his aunt Betty Burgin; his uncle Danny Mikels; his close friend Christian; and his brother Jim Keener. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Berry Funeral Home (3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025.
