He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Kear and Nina Kear; his daughter Pam Kear Pinyon; and his siblings, Johnny Walker, Bobby Walker and Charlotte Kear.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boling Kear; his children, Dean Kear and Donna Mitchell; his son-in-law Van Mitchell; his grandchildren, Blake Huff and Alex Pinyon; Bill Kear, Carol Kear, David Kear, Teresa Kear, Jim Kear, Barbara Kear and Pauline Walker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
