He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence "Winnie" Atkins; and his grandparents, Glen, Dorothy Hicks, Lester and Gladys Atkins.
He is survived by: his mother Judy Atkins; his brothers, Kent Atkins (Donna) and Kip Atkins; his siblings' children, Danielle, Suzanne, Kaitlin and Karson; and his friend Paula Jones. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
