As Nila departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Nila may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Nila leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Don Roy Carr; her children, Donnie Carr (Mitzi Carr), Joe Carr (Vicki Carr) and Sunny Carr Bailey; her grandchild Carrson Bailey; her pet Molly; and her friends, Debbie Johnson and Irma Carr.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Berry Highland South Cemetery (9010 Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920).
