She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Blevins and Gay Victoria Neely Blevins; her husband George Marshall Phillips; her son Robert "Bob" Marshall Phillips; her siblings, Mary Hill, Hazel Hutchinson, Dorothy Richie and James "Jim" Blevins; her daughter-in-law Candy Simons Phillips; her niece Pat Hill; and her brothers-in-law, A. J. Hill, Bill Smith and Bill Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Sluder (David), James "Jim" Phillips, Timothy "Tim" Phillips and Daniel "Danny" Phillips (Tammy Phillips); her grandson Wesston Lee Sluder; her sister Frances Blevins Smith; and her sister-in-law Dee Blevins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shady Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
