She was predeceased by: her parents, Hien Van Phan and Nhan Thi Doan Phan. She is survived by: her son Matthew Lowe; and her siblings, Phan Thi Xuan, Phan Thi An, Phan Thi Binh, Phan Thi Mai, Phan Van Trung and Loung Thi Squerbrier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
