He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Bruce Wright and Orpha Morris Wright; his wife Betty Morgan Wright; and his sister Jessie Wright Snider. He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Wright Jones (Jerry) of Dyersburg and Sandra Wright Magness of Sharon; his grandchildren, Carrie Magness Harris (Chris), Parker Lee Magness (Mandy) and Brett Morgan Jones (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Morgan Shelby Harris, Molly Grace Magness, Brenner Wright Magness and Abigail Marie Jones; and his nephew Mike Snider.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2209 N Meridian St, Greenfield, TN 38230). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
