She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer L. Kemp and Dorothy Louise Baker Kemp; and her brother Dr. Homer D. Kemp of Cookville, TN.. She is survived by: her son John Kemp Cross (Amanda) of Martin, TN; her grandchildren, Averie Cross of Martin, TN and Jackson Cross of Martin, TN; her sister Linda Yates (Andy Jetton) of Sharon, TN; her sister-in-law Mary Tanner Kemp of Ringgold; and her nephew William Tyler Yates II (Cassie) of Martin, TN..
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (207 Central St, Martin, TN 38237). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
