He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Nancy (Groff); his children, Jessica Bruening (Shelly) and Nicholas Bruening; his stepchildren, Sean Corrigan, Michelle Hazzard, Jerry Hazzard and Mark Hazzard (Marianne); his sister Joanne Podojil (James); his nephew Jimmy; and his niece Raquel.
