He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Etta Davis-Ashley and Leroy Ashley; his daughter April Dawn Ashley; his brother Julian "Juke" Ashley; and his great grandchild Blakelyn.
He is survived by: his close friend Terry Ingle; his sister Rhonda Gray (Gary); his sister-in-law Sheila Ashley; his nieces and nephews, Tarah Swinson (Bill) and Dana Farris (Greg); his grandchildren, Matthew "Scottie" Farris (Amber), Sean Harper (Natalie), Shay Harper (Ashlyn), Ashlyn Adcock (Sammy) and Lexi (Austin); his great grandchildren, Jaycie, Dallas, Easton, Cleatyn, Grayson, Isabella, Brooks, Sienna and Hollis; his close friend Lucky Visha; and his pet Petey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
