He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brady Harris and Annie V. Hinson Harris; his son Gerald Thomas Harris; his stepdaughter Lisa Jeanne Adams; his stepgrandson Phillip Bradley Frizzell; and his siblings, James L. Harris, Kenneth W. Harris, Doyle E. Harris, Carl C. Harris, William Harris, Martha Baldauff, Cecil R. Harris, James E. Harris and Donnie Gore.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Dennis Harris; his children, Cynthia Diane Harris Sanders, Deborah Griggs, Benita Lahr and Albert Leon McClaran; and his brother Eugene Harris. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
