He was predeceased by: his father Michael Lynn Pope; and his grandparents, Juanita Pope and Prentice Cooper Pope. He is survived by: his mother Melissa "Lesa" Smotherman Gongola; his daughter Hadley Dean Pope; his siblings, Krista Gongola of Shelbyville and Trent Gongola of Shelbyville; and his grandfather Greely Smotherman of Shelbyville. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help assist the family with final expenses.
