He was predeceased by: his father Larry Thompson; and his stepfather Phil Davis. He is survived by: his children, Lacey Jaye Davis of Lexington, Kentucky and Devin Phillip Davis of Lexington, Kentucky; his mother Linda Kendall Davis of Shelbyville, Tennessee; his granddaughter Leyla of Versailles, Kentucky; and his sisters, Lori Davis Smith (Rex) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Lucinda Davis Rzymek (Michael) of Cleveland, Ohio. He is also survived by two nephews and a niece.
