He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson Hines and Carolyn Sue Bailey Hines; his grandparents, Ross, Katherine Hines, Ida Roth and John Bailey; and his nephew Andrew Purcell.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda "Missy" Freeman Hines; his daughter Cassie Hill (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Savannah Grace Hill, Landon Michael Hill and Lily Claire Hill; and his siblings, Johnny Lee Hines, Timothy Hines (Tabitha) and Katherine Briggs (John).
