He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wise Phillips and Gertrude O'Neal Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Zena Norris Phillips; his daughter Rhonda Leverette (Shannon) of Unionville, TN; his grandchildren, Jessica Leverette and Jake Leverette (Fallon) of Shelbyville; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Luca and Kiera Leverette.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doak-Howell Funeral Home (739 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
