“My love and sympathy to Jon and Catherine and all those who knew and loved Vavial. I count myself in that group. Vavial was a childhood friend to my mother, Peggy Overcast in Lynchburg. Then Vavial was my GCO at South Central Bell back in the early 1970's. She was a very kind leader to me. We kept in touch (somewhat) through Facebook or sometime we would come across paths on town. I know Vavial loved traveling and I can only imagine the sights and sounds of heaven she's experiencing now!”
