With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Schrader Anderson of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on December 20, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Shrader and Ruby Inez Mabry Shrader; her husband Sherwin Anderson; and her siblings, Gloria Taylor (Steve) and Robert Larry Shrader.
She is survived by: her children, David Anderson Jr. (Rhonda) and Tracy Maddox (Mark); her grandchildren, Devin Marshall (Drew), David Anderson III, Mabry Maddox and Ruby Maddox; and her great grandchild Aria Marshall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the Chattanooga Children's Home or Ridgedale Baptist Church, both of which were close to her heart.
