He was predeceased by : his wife Martha Sue; his parents, Harley D. McKesson and Ida E. McKesson; and his brothers, Gordon and Albert McKesson.

He is survived by : his children, Jim McKesson (Susan) and Pam Patterson (Ron); and his grandsons, Matthew Humphry (Summer) and Jared Humphry (Shelby). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
