She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ray Thurman and Mildred Griffith. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Barnett; her children, Rodney Barnett (Marcy) and Summer Stewart (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Matthew Barnett (Bryn) and Lucy Anne Stewart.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Park (501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
