We announce the death of Terry Blunt (Signal Mountain, Tennessee), who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Terry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mary Gaston Blunt and Abron Vincent Blunt, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Connie "CoCo" Blunt; his daughters, Betsy Blunt Brown (Hugh) and Allison Ford Blunt Lee (Thomas); his grandchildren, Claire Lee Rehm (Austin), Kylie Jennings Lee of New York City, Elizabeth Hayden Brown, Thomas Carroll Lee IV, Hugh Pearce Brown II and William Hudson Brown; his brother-in-law Christopher Winfield Ford (Ashley); his niece Cameron Scott Ford; his brother William David Gaston Blunt of Copenhagen, Denmark; his nephew Sebastian Blunt; and his friends, Terry, Anne McElhinny, John Dalton and Lydia Landry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church (612 James Blvd, Signal Mountain, TN 37377). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center, Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, or The University of Chattanooga Foundation.
