He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Luther and Vennie Lee Palmer Thomas; his children, Tammy Sue Stover and Perry; his daughter-in-law Cindy Herren Thomas; his sister Donna Sue; and his brother-in-law Glen Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Roberts Thomas of Silver Point; his sons, Jerry Thomas (Nicole) of Cookeville, Michael Thomas of Silver Point and Charles Stover of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Kevin Thomas, Helena Thomas, Jaycee Thomas, Erika Cochran, Lea Stover, Ashton Distefano and Dalton Distefano; and his great grandchild Sayler Distefano.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baxter Chapel (532 4th Ave S, Baxter, TN 38544). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
