She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Knowlton and Lucille Cronk Looker; and her siblings, Donald, Martin Knowlton and Pamela Ashcraft.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Henry Jernigan; her children, Robin Katterman, Tonya Crenshaw and Adam Jernigan; and her siblings, James Knowlton and Ellen Collison. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Cookeville (981 S Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (981 S Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501).
