He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Chapman and Annie Laurie Chapman; and his son Justin Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Ermeda Chapman of Smithville; his children, Sloan Chapman (Ashleigh) of Alexandria and Jeannie Shrum (Jonathan) of Cookeville; his grandchildren, Hunter Shrum (Stephanie), Austin Shrum and Brooke Yokum (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Skyler, Athena, Orion and Mason; and his siblings, Troyce Ann Ashley of South Carolina, Linda Brooks (Mitchell) of South Carolina and Jack Chapman (Deverle) of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, in memory of Bro. Ben.
