He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Ray and Jere Lee Wallace Yount, Sr.; and his daughter Dallas Yount. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Yount of Smithville; his children, Bobby Yount, Jr. of Smithville and Rebecca VanDyne (Jesse) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Lillian and Andrew VanDyne; and his siblings, Johnny Yount, Jr. of Watertown, Benny Yount of Carthage, Roger Yount (Kathy), Ricky Yount (Kathy) of Lebanon, Regina Yount of Lebanon, Beverly Yount of Nashville, Marsha Yount of Virginia and Kathy Yount.
In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
