She was predeceased by: her father Willie Doyle. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Doug G Hooper of Smithville; her sons, Dr. Daniel Douglas Hooper (Bryant Ransom) and Dr. Justin Davis Hooper (Martha) of Smithville; her grandsons, Aiden Rhett, Emmett Turner, Owen Thomas and Landon Reed; and her siblings, Barbara Wall (Jim) of Smithville and Al Smith (Toni) of Huntsville, Alabama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Brenda Hooper to Lighthouse Christian Camp, First Baptist Church Youth Fund, or the American Cancer Society.
