He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Saltan and Mary Bocklage Howard; and his brother Eddie Howard. He is survived by: his wife Janet Howard of Smithville; his son Carl A. Howard, II (Lara) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Nathan Howard, Anna Howard, Bryce Howard, Courtney Rodriguez (Danny), Koryn Howard and Kendall Howard; and his great grandchild Asher Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
