She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Merriman and Georgia Melton Merriman; and her sister Linda Sue Osment. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Agee of Smithville; her children, Brian Agee of Augusta, GA and Rachel Phipps (Trent) of Smithville; her grandson Lucas Phipps; her pet Maze; and her siblings, Eddie Merriman (Angela) of Smithville, Mike Merriman (Myra) of Smithville and Patricia Canerdy (Donnie) of Alabama. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mt. Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church in memory of Carolyn.
