He was predeceased by: his parents, Truemon Barrett and Bertie Crook Barrett; and his brother Doug Barrett. He is survived by: his siblings, Rita Beshearse (Gary) of Smithville and Hoyte Barrett (Fay) of Smithville; and his nieces and nephews, Kandy Culbertson (James), Lacey Foutch (Daniel), Jimmy Barrett (Christy), Angela Puckett (Shawn), Tommy Barrett (Stacey) and Lee Reynolds (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Sycamore Cemetery.
In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Sycamore Cemetery, in memory of Donald.
