He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Atnip and Emogene Atnip; his wife Lori Atnip; and his grandson Elias Atnip. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Atnip of Knoxville and Jordan Atnip (Morgan) of Smithville; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Atnip, Jude and Jedd Atnip.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to local to Haven of Hope or to Smithville First Baptist Church Student Ministry.
