She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Austin and Emma Jean Jones Neal; and her siblings, Donna Kay Knowles and Kenneth Neal. She is survived by: her husband Danny Evans of Woodbury; her son Nathan Evans (Allyson) of Cookeville; her grandsons, Tucker and Tate Evans; her siblings, Nina Lawrence of Smithville, David Neal (Gloria) of McMinnville, Betty Byford of McMinnville, Jimmy Neal (Carol) of Smithville and Danny Neal of Smithville; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Knowles of Smithville and Jeanette Neal of Smithville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
