Elsie Dornes Miller Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Dornes Miller of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemual Cecil and Lela Pearl Hale; her husband Bobby Miller; her daughter Tammie Miller Geoghegan; her grandchildren, Jason Golden, Joshua Golden and Jesse Golden; and her siblings, Thelma Mooneyham, Lillian Hale, Cecil Robert Hale, Alvie Hale, Garland Hale, Arland Hale, Walter Brown Hale, Bratten Hale, Truitt Hale, Landon Hale and Hubert Hale.

She is survived by: her children, Billy Miller (Kate), Carolyn Miller, Lisa Andrews, Tabitha Wann and Misty Lassiter (Todd). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Oncology Department in memory of Ms. Elsie.
