It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Jeanette of Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rutland and Vurnal Rutland; her husband Earl League; her son Larry League Sr.; her grandson Larry League Jr.; and her brothers, Ed Rutland and Robert Rutland.

She is survived by: her children, Donald E. League (Connie) and Genelle League; her granddaughter Loretta Clemmons (William); her great grandchildren, Victoria Adams (Bradley), Tiffani Best (Daniel), Lance League, D'Andrea League (Taylor), Bria Clemmons and Julian Bucher; and her great great grandchildren, Cyan League, Scottie Adams, Camille League, Kingston League, Asher Best and Salem Hughs.
