She was predeceased by: her husband Auburn Nixon; her parents, Johnnie Slager and Mattie Ola Slager; and her brothers, James, Billy and Roy Slager.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Nixon (Jennifer) of Smithville and Timmy Nixon (Lisa) of Smithville; her grandchildren, Jenna Reynolds (Tim) of Smithville, Nathan Nixon (Jessica) of Smithville and Lynsey Smith (Nathan) of Dunlap; her great grandchildren, Dallas Reynolds of Smithville, Levi Nixon of Smithville, Addelyn Kate Nixon of Smithville, Denton Nixon of Smithville and Maisie Smith of Dunlap; and her brother Doyle Slager (Gail) of Smithville.
