She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest and Jessie Louise Raymond Winchester; her husband Comer Bratcher; and her siblings, Mary Sue Chapman, Janie Thomason, Joyce Jack, James Ernest Winchester, Jr. and Ricky Winchester.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Bowling of Murfreesboro and Stephanie Myers (Robert) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Zackary Bowling, Ashley Mullane (Steven), Brinlee Myers and Hudson Myers; her great grandchildren, Malachi Revette, Ruby Bowling, Liam Parker, Noah and Rowen Mullane; and her sister Linda Pedigo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the DeKalb Funeral Chapel (863 S Congress Blvd, Smithville, TN 37166). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at the Banks Cemetery.
The family ask in addition to flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Ms. Janice.
